I have seen this badger on Saturday (on my first visit at Milwaukee Zoo). IF(!) I understood the sign at the exhibit correctly, this individual has replaced another one that died and the new one is much more activ during the day as the old one was.

This one has replaced the old badger that died, however this one is less active during the day, and is usually hiding underground. She is starting to come out of her shell though. I hope you enjoyed your first visit to the Milwaukee County Zoo!
@Wild wolverine: Thank you for verifying (That's why I wrote "if" ). Saw the badger at about 4 pm.
And yes, I enjoyed my visit to Milwaukee County Zoo - beside one exception. I was so hungry, so I decided to try a bratwurst sandwich (the locals obviously call it "a brat"). And this was one of the most awfull zoo food I have had in my live. It was a sausage, yes, but it had nothing to do with a real bratwurst from Germany or Switzerland (and this in a US-City with so many people with german background).
here's a question: why are badgers so consistently awesome? I mean, look at the one in the photo above. She simply exudes awesomeness!
I have only seen two species in real life, but I have seen photos of all the species I think (as well as the famous honey badger Youtube video of course), and every single one of them just looks like it is -- and, more importantly, looks like it knows it is -- the greatest animal on the planet.
