8/11/2014 - Red River Hogs

They're brothers named Mango and Radish, and came from the Denver Zoo. They are the very first red river hogs to live in Milwaukee.

I remember there are ways to tell them apart, but I can't remember which one is which! Do you know, Milwaukee Man?

I've had the same problem as you! Every volunteer I've talked to so far is unable to tell them apart. Hopefully something will come up soon.

Glad to hear I'm not alone hahaha! I know one is more aggressive, one has longer tufts, and one had a surgery and has a scar left over on his side. As to which one is which, I'm lost.

Correction: according to the article wild wolverine posted a week ago on the Milwaukee forum (which by the way, why did the Zoo wait until now to announce the hogs rather than when they debuted? Same thing occurred with the caracal), the hogs actually came from Charles Paddock Zoo.

I totally understand. I'm not sure why they'd wait 2 months to post about them. ??
