Baldur, I just want to thank you for posting such comprehensive photos from your trip to America and special thanks for posting lots of photos that give a good idea of the exhibits. I have spent ages looking at your photos from Minnesota Zoo and can't wait to start Saint Louis Zoo.
Pat, I'm so pleased to know this. Your words only encourage me to continue uploading my lot from America. My back hurts now as I've been sitting all evening at the computer uploading the Saint Louis album. I've also had some doubts about if my contribution is needed as some of those galleries are already rather large; but in the end I always reach the conclusion that I should because I feel I have a story to tell with my photos; as well as because others may have missed what I saw and photographed.
My desire is to give as fairly comprehensive image of the zoos I visit and exhibits I see as I can for those who may not have the same chance as I have had. I try to fit an entire exhibit into one photo, but if not possible, I will take as many photos as needed to document the exhibit. I only recently started taking close-up photos of zoo animals (a major hobby for many of our fellow members) and like it but it will never replace exhibit photography.
Yes I agree that your photography of these zoos is amazing. I really enjoy your pictures, as they are all high quality. Iam finishing up you Saint Louis pictures and anxouisly awaiting your pictures from Omaha.
