I actually like this habitat either then the fact there aren't anyhiding places. There seems to be quite a bit of vertical space

I think that the exhibit looks quite a bit better from this photo. The Detroit Zoo's tree kangaroo enclosure is outdoors, ten times bigger, and has massive trees in it for the roos to climb. In Minnesota the zoo visitors can get far too close to the roos, even though they do have some vertical space.

The exhibit design itself isn't too bad at all besides it's size and the fact that there is no natural foliage in the habitat.

I can't believe I even said that a year ago, this is atrotciously small

It sounds like Detroit has a really nice tree kangaroo exhibit.

The exhibits for tree kangaroos in San Diego, although outdoors, really don't seem any larger or more planted than this. The tree kangaroo exhibit at the Omaha Zoo was indoors and perhaps equal or smaller to this in size.

It seems like the Minnesota Zoo exhibit here is pretty standard for tree kangaroos (i.e., not that big or vegetated). What zoos other than Detroit have nice large exhibits for tree kangaroos?
