Thanks for uploading all of these photos of the newly revamped Bird House, and there is certainly an immersive quality to many of the exhibits. I particularly like it when there are enclosures (like the one in the photo) where it can be disconcerting where the visitor area ends and the bird habitat begins. There is even an enclosure with a little wooden bridge that is particularly effective, and yet the building has also maintained its historic status with aplomb. An urban zoo like Antwerp, which is perhaps as urban as it gets with apartment complexes looming in most directions, has done a great job with an older structure such as the Bird House.
