Green Anaconda Exhibit

Dec. 4th, 2013.
This is the entire space available to this huge snake, and the size of the exhibit is perhaps close to being only 50% of the length of the animal. There is barely any land area but what is interesting is that the snake was shedding its skin and one corner of the pool had a very long set of old skin floating in the water.

Is this a proper zoo or some ones collection set up as a roadside collection? so far I think it's the latter.

There is definitely a sense of age about the facility, and it is amazing what a lick of paint could do for the place. Having said that, as my 65 photos show there is clearly a massive need for an overhaul of many of the exhibits. A dedicated staff and a rescue-center mentality do not excuse some of the shocking enclosures that the public see.

It's seeing places that this that I can understand why there is an anti-zoo lobby.
