Nice, but I prefer the one in the Aquarium of the Pacific here in LA. They are both the same in height, except the one here doesn't have the glass support things. All you see is glass, so it's more realistic.
The Kelp Forest Exhibit at Monterey Bay is 28 feet tall and was the world's first ever living kelp community. I've never visited the Aquarium of the Pacific, but this exhibit in the photo is massive.
Both the MBA and AotP are very similar and probably very close partners. The current sea otters at the AotP belong to MBA. The only thing is that AotP is way newer.
The Two Oceans Aquarium at Cape Town , South Africa , also has a large 'Kelp Forest' exhibit . Not as large as those in NA but still very impressive , with large specimens of unfamiliar local fish .
