Did you get to see the Laysan albatross when you visited the Monterey Aquarium? From what it said on their website it looks like they were only bringing her (him?) out for talks at certain times of the day.

I would have loved to have seen an albatross, but sadly that was not the case. However, I am a big fan of this spacious, well-lit area and it is always one of the highlights of the aquarium for me.
