Tentacles exhibit

Tentacles is the Monterey Bay Aquarium's temporary exhibit on cephalopods that opened in spring 2014. It features an impressive lineup of octopus, squid, nautilus, and cuttlefish species.

The exhibit is spectacular and has several unique interactive interpretive exhibits about cephalopod ecology, adaptations, and natural history.

Vampire squid and flapjack octopus were some of the species that have been on temporary display. Sadly neither was on exhibit when I visited.
