We are family!

From pictures posted on Zoochat I think that clouded leopard cubs may be the most adorable animals on the planet. Sorry pandas and koalas, you lose:)

ZooChatter "Arizona Docent" is salivating as I type this!:) He will be in Nashville soon and I'm sure that he'll have his camera trained on these cubs.

It is like Snowleopard and I have an invisible mental connection! Yes, I am going to see them next month and I think it will be even better than when I went to see three cubs there a few years ago. Not just because five is better than three, but because these are in the red panda enclosure which is more photo friendly (glass) than the last time when they were in the childrens zoo (thin fencing). Also this is in the same viewing den as the adult clouded leopards, so I can easily move back and forth and photograph whichever ones are most photogenic at any given moment. Of course I will have to tear myself away to try to photograph the juvenile pumas, which I imagine are pretty active too.

You could be that lucky too. According to Google maps, it is only a 16 hour drive from Beardsley Zoo to Nashville Zoo - piece of cake. ;)

Perfect! Now all I need is a family that won't laugh at me when I say I want to go to Tennessee to see Clouded Leopard cubs!

Trust me you're not that crazy. My mom only wants to got to Lowry Park Zoo when we are in Florida because they have shoebill storks on exhibit. when she found out that they have successfully bred them before she almost had a heart attack.

Ah those Shoebills.;). I still want to (in other words need) to see those cubs!:D

They are bloody gorgeous. I wish I had the time and money to travel to visit them. I have yet to see these beautiful cats in person.
