This exhibit is located pass the tropical rainforest exhibit where the lorikeets ,Bali mynah, kingfisher exhibits are. I don't remember what species of birds where in there but it was like a desert theme exhibit. Also the rhinorecos hornbill was moved in the big exhibit where the flamingos are and there old exhibit is getting worked on so idk if there's something new going in there old exhibit or not. The kiwi there getting is coming from the san Diego zoo BTW.

Will it have day/night reversal?

I haven't been to the aviary since this visit but they got back to me on facebook and exactly said this " The kiwi exhibit is open, but kiwi are nocturnal so he will not be that active." My guess would be just a day setting for this exhibit which makes no sense. ugh. If i had to guess he's probably always in this cave thing with tinted windows. But if that's the case how can you see him. I like to know more about this kiwi bird itself. It came from san diego zoo. How many kiwi's did the san diego zoo have? Is this kiwi a older one that just came to the aviary for his remaining years?
