Amazon Flooded Forest- Arapaima. July 9, 2013. Three or four of these huge fish swim alongside Banded Leporinus, Silver Arowana, Arrau Turtle, [I]Piaractus brachypomus[/I], Red-Tailed Catfish, and a few others in a massive tank with a walk-through tunnel that recreates the environment of the Amazon River during the flooded season. The music the aquarium plays within the walk-through tunnel just immerses you even more into this exhibit.
