A few parrots on sticks is the short answer, but here is a mini-review of the entire building (which is rather disappointing).
Aviary Building (28 species) – This is a long structure with a real hodgepodge of species on display in mainly mediocre exhibits. Free-roaming macaws on sticks in the central area are interesting but the rows of glass-fronted enclosures along each side are rather decrepit and in need of an overhaul. Outdoors consists of long rows of aviaries on each side of the building and while adequate they are not pleasing to the eye. The species list for the entire facility includes: Red-Tailed Hawk, Barn Owl, Great Horned Owl, Eurasian Eagle Owl, Lesser Yellow-Headed Vulture, King Vulture, Wrinkled Hornbill, Chestnut-Fronted Macaw, Military Macaw, Greater Sulphur-Crested Cockatoo, Goffin’s Cockatoo, Eclectus Parrot, Blue-Crowned Motmot, Cattle Egret, Temminck’s Tragopan, Black Swan, Ringed Teal, Helmeted Guineafowl, Northern Curassow, New Guinea Masked Plover, Green Aracari, Kookaburra, Toe-Toed Sloth, Binturong, various finches, Ornate Box Turtle, Cane Toad and African Bullfrog.
