1st habitat. This was the original elephant exhibit and at 3.5 acres was large to begin with. It is now doubled in size with an additional 3.5 acre exhibit, which was the old white rhino exhibit. The white rhinos now roam the 30-40+ acre grasslands exhibit.
At almost triple the size and with an actual substance called "grass" this blows Elephant Odyssey out of the water...in my humble opinion. However, North Carolina lacks the herd dynamics that will be in evidence underneath the San Diego sunshine.
