It means "to measure the quantity of" so wouldn't that mean how much importance each category has in relation to each other? Please clarify your question.
Could you explain what it means then? I looked up the exact definition before posting to be sure and what I said before is what I heard from googles dictionary.
Id be happy to answer your question if you clarify it.

English teacher jbn is tired of looking at bad writing.
To do your homework for you (which again, English teacher jbn shouldn't do - because how will you ever learn), what we're asking is for you to give exact criteria to say why exactly you say something is the best. These criteria need to be measurable and unbiased. They must not be based on opinion. You are only allowed to make judgements of opinion in the cases that you have personally inspected the site, have detailed knowledge of elephant/animal care, have extensively studied zoo design, conducted surveys of visitor reactions, looked into the ethology of how the animals use the exhibits, etc.
Are you qualified to pass judgement?
Judging by the fact that you've told several untruths in this thread, which are easily answerable by your friend Google, I would say no.

Hey if I have an opinion then I can post it- This is a public forum
No need for the attacks. I just have a zoo I consider the best, that all. Im not going around on the net spreading lies or anything. I simply have it as number 1 on my list, and Im sure (whether you admit it or not ) you have a #1 zoo in your mental list as well!
I am not quite sure what I looked it up in but I found it WITH google. This was days ago. Either way, I looked them both up just now and they have the same definition ( oxy and google ) for quantify.
Setting that aside...... comments are for opinions so what do you expect.
Notice I did not say it is the best zoo, I said " I ( keyword: I ) say this is the best zoo in the world."
You also claimed that Henry Doorly is the biggest zoo in the world, and when corrected justified your claim by saying that by size, you meant naturalness and enrichment

I am not attacking anyone. We are trying to teach you. We asked what justification you have for making a claim. You got defensive. You've now made yourself out to look like an internet troll by not being able to understand the simple questions asked by people who have far more zoo experience than you do. Again, we are trying to teach not to drive away.
You are correct, this is a public forum. That means there must be two-way conversation. When asked to back up your claim, you must provide evidence.
The best way to persuade your audience is by using correct facts, data, figures, etc. This can be coupled with emotional appeals as well as ethical, but in the grand scheme of things, facts must win. Facts and data can be proven correct or incorrect, feelings and opinions cannot. You, however, cannot win an argument writing like a 5th grader.
As for personal lists, I do not keep them any more. Zoos are dynamic, changing creatures. I've learned that I cannot judge one based on a single visit, or even multiple visits spaced over multiple years, nor can I judge a zoo based on photos from ZooChat, for I've often found that when I finally see the zoo in person, I have completely different experience.
Moral of the story, learn when others are trying to teach. Questioning (the so-called Socratic method) is one of the highest and most effective forms of learning, for it forces you to act introspectively and come up with reasons to conclusions that you formed intuitively.
