We’re all entitled to our own opinions but I don’t see how that building can be described as ugly; it is one of my favourite historic zoo buildings. (Incidentally, on my first few visits to Antwerp, it housed the northern white rhinoceros “Chloe”.)

Why should it look like that? the ostrich certainly has never seen the Serengeti, but he does wants a warm dry place in winter. Apart from the fact that it is a very nice monumental building...
