I always feel compelled to rip into these awful little grottoes whenever I see them featured in the ZooChat gallery, and regardless of the location any zoo with outdated concrete bear pits should really be chastised. Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo has some truly spectacular exhibits, but the bear area is nothing more than hundreds of pounds of concrete. Brutal, and I think that the grottoes are only about 20 years old.
