Henry Doorly Zoo 2010 - Aye Aye in Expedition Madagascar

Aye Aye in Expedition Madagascar. I have seen Aye Ayes in several zoos both in Europe and the USA but never had as great view of this species as in Omaha.

Amazing I never new they had one. LOOKS like denver is going to have to take down the " only aye aye on exhibit in america"

Oh I remember that sign all right. It actually said "... that only the Denver Zoo has on display". Aye Ayes are found in Denver, Omaha, Philadelphia and San Francisco as well as Duke, and that is just in the US. ISIS has them registered in 5 places in Europe and 1 in Asia. I have seen them in Philadelphia, Denver, Omaha, Frankfurt and London.

the EXIF data under the photo records - amongst other things - the date the photo was taken (29 September 2010) and that yes flash was used
