The African lion and Siberian tiger exhibits that anchor both ends of the building are what I would call good, but nothing more. The tiger exhibit is actually fairly large and filled with vegitation. However, the indoor exhibits for tigers, pumas, leopards, jaguars, and snow leopards are brutal. The outdoor tiger exhibits are small and just as bad, while the outdoor for the jaguar, leopard, puma, and snowleopard, are still below average, but not too bad. The indoor fishing cat exhibit is also okay.
The new director (Dennis Pate) has already stated that eventually the Cat Complex and Bear Canyon areas will almost surely be demolished. The zoo is finally getting on board with the idea of having geographic zones and those two exhibit complexes are both rubbish in comparison to the many wonders of the Henry Doorly Zoo.
Ok, well I guess I don't see why you would label it as the puma exhibit in the present tense then or what it has to do with the zoo in its current form.
