July 2008. Jackrabbits, cottontail rabbits, prairie dogs and armadillos all share this terrific mixed-species habitat that is built on a steep slope.

I think it's to steep for those species of animals.

The part of the exhibit at the top appears to be relatively flat, but I do agree that the front portion is unusually steep.

The species Snowleopard listed sounds like an awesome mixed-species exhibit. When I visited this past February the only thing in this exhibit were Desert Cottontails and I felt like it was a waste of space. They should introduce those other species back in!

Dang, Omaha Zoo has lost a huge amount of their animal collection over the past few years.

@Brayden Delashmutt although for good reason. The zoo used to be way to packed, and many of the species held at Omaha back then had barely any space at all.

@Dhole dude true. I'm still in awe that they kept the Cat Complex was kept around for so long.
