I'm guessing the enclosure is the cave area. I can't see it, but from the metal bar across the bottom of the cave entrance, I presume they use harp wire.
It is indeed a rather small exhibit, but in terms of sizes, there are unfortunately worse clouded leopard exhibits. This picture shows the view the animal has from "above" onto the ground floor. The visitor walks past a glass wall on the opposite side
Sun Wukong is correct in saying that visitors see the clouded leopard from the opposite side of the enclosure, and it is actually a darkened, lengthy hallway that runs past a number of exhibits. I think that a smaller species would be more appropriate in the enclosure, and Omaha is fairly notorious for having spaces for cats that are somewhat lacking. The bobcat and serval enclosures in the Desert Dome could be larger, and the Cat Complex (while being the largest in North America overall) has around 40 or more big cats in relatively barren, featureless enclosures.
Yes, this enclosure is on the small side. I agree that the Cat Complex in another part of the zoo is barren and lacking, in fact it was on the depressing side after seeing the wonderlands of the other big exhibits in this zoo.
