I've seen close to 40 aquariums in North America, but on top of that I've also toured around 15 aquariums that are actually inside zoos. Omaha clearly has the best but somewhat incredibly the zoo recently spent $6.5 million to make the Scott Aquarium even better. With just over a million gallons of water it is actually one of the larger aquariums in the United States and it could really stand alone (for possibly an extra fee) as a genuine aquatic facility. As it is the extremely low adult admission price of $13 for the zoo also includes this highly impressive aquarium.
