Your pictures of the whole outdoor part of the aquarium are convincing that it is extensive and high quality! Was the outdoor part larger than the indoor section?
The outdoor area is borderline brilliant (octopus, sea otter, harbour seal/California seal lion exhibits) and the crown jewel is the walk-through, 5-species Sea Bird Aviary. There is the "Passages of the Deep" area that is basically 3 indoor, walk-through underwater tunnels that at one time housed Keiko the orca from the "Free Willy" movies. The rest of the indoor sections are small, and there are 3 large rooms and one rotational exhibit that will be "Swampland" later this summer.
