Before they build this exhibit they should completely reconstruct the elephant exhibit. Then the tiger and polar bears. This zoo has some pretty horrible enclosures for some of the most popular animals.
I totally agree, and you and I tend to think along the same lines most of the time. I believe that it is only around elephants that we go off in different directions! Haha. The Oregon Zoo has improved quite a bit in recent years, and with a potential $125 million zoo bond vote this month should get even better in the future. The long-term plans are for renovated polar bear and elephant habitats.
