Truly a remarkable picture! Who would have thought that the two predator species would interact that close with each other? I have never seen anything like it.
They originally had the two pumas and two black bears (one of each shown here) with some wolves, but the wolves didn't really like it so they got moved to their own habitat. The animals' needs come first at this park and they only mix animals if the animals seem to enjoy it. The idea of this grouping (wolf/bear/puma) was "Arizona Predators" so it actually kind of makes sense.
I believe the bears and pumas do still live together at the new Camp Verde location.
