Fascinating animals. A lot of people have watched the Giant Elephant Shrew at Frankfurt Zoo if it wasa ctive. Most of them said"Coati"or"Anteater", but the crowd loved this little guy. So im curious, if the vistors at Philadelphia or Washington are fascinated by this animals the same as the german people were.
At Philadelphia, not many people went in this building - most stayed in the outside exhibits (even though the zoo was very crowded). Of those who did go in, I don't remember anyone commenting much on the shrews or looking at them for more than a few seconds.
