Good news: The zoo is building a new hippo exhibit on the other side of the zoo by the giraffe exhibit. It will be much larger I believe, but I'm not sure on underwater viewing.
Not sure. Hopefully they'll get rid of that entire complex and do something good with it. The awful okapi exhibit, the poor scottish cattle exhibit, along with the former elephant exhibit are included in that.
