This seems very innovative. Do you have any sense of how it is working as an exhibit; do people get to see much activity and do they like it more than a traditional monkey exhibit? Are the monkeys and lemurs liking it?
There was a presentation on this at the AZA conference. It seems that the animal staff is still slowly getting animals used to the Trail. It is planned that this is only Phase 1. There are also plans to create similar (but appropriately sized and designed) Trails for cats and larger primates!
