No, the land beyond the poles is not for the hippos. This really isn't much of an upgrade for the hippos, rather just moving them since their old home is being turned into the new Children's Zoo.
No it's not. The old elephant exhibit is being turned into the new childrens zoo. The space of the old one may eventually be used for a new elephant exhibit.
