Semioptera

Blue-throated Piping-guan

Pipile cumanensis
14 October 2009
Lucky you. Aye-Aye still on my list of animals to see/photograph. How's their exhibit in Cincinnati? is it possible to see them clearly there?

I will be back in Philly this summer. Was last there in 2010 and before that 2007. Can't wait to see some of these rarities again.

I envy you both :)
I wonder what new additions they have now and whether they still keep Lemurs/Sifaka there.
Good luck & have fun.

- Check there website as it is perhaps on of the most up to date websites of any zoo. It even has the animals names.

Thanks. Just checked it. Lemurs (Mongoose & Blue Eyes) and Coquerel's Sifaka still there. :)

The enclosure at Cincinnati is pretty good by their standards. It's nicely sized and dark. I didn't find it too difficult to find them, though it might be a bit challenging. Photographing them might be a challenge for you.

And I was unaware that the zoo held Mongoose Lemur. This will be another species I wish to see then.
