These walkways were designed so animals could move to different sections of the zoo for enrichment. It also keeps visitors active as they try to figure out where certain animals are - are they on exhibit, are they in the walkways? The first part, treetop trails was excellent because it provided a chance to for primates to be outside who were housed indoors year round.
