These alligators were confiscated pets that were given to the zoo. I think this zoo is just doing the best that they can considering it is a tiny zoo that is also free.
I completely agree! Even at a place like Reptile Gardens in South Dakota, with something like 130 species of reptile/amphibian on display, there are some shoddy crocodilian exhibits. Lots of places have poor enclosures for such large predators.
Well, the idea of housing reptiles in an indoor exhibit in glass 'pens' in this manner is new to me, but the inner contents of the pen could undeniably use some work.
