I remember that sign... didn't seem to stop the human primates all that much.

No, but I thought it was a nice variation on "Do Not Climb".

From memory - I think it was this zoo - they had another sign made up that said

"Climb in the trees ........
......................................and you DIE!!!!!"

But they weren't allowed to put it out in the zoo grounds.
