With the brand-new entrance, do visitors now pay for their admission before crossing the bridge? Also, does the zoo monitor and feed the wild turtles in the stream or are they left to their own devices? Lastly, did the zoo take down all traces of its logo (3 animal faces) near the entrance?
The zoo does monitor the turtles but not because they are part of the collection. Most of them were dumped in this and other lakes throughout Papago Park. They are not fed by the zoo.
