Is this glass viewing section new? I don't recall it from my 2008 visit to what I thought was a fairly poor zoo. I praised the excellent children's section and the aquarium, and then it is all downhill from there. The Water's Edge complex (polar bears, sea otters, sharks) is okay and the African area has its bright spots, but the Tropical Forest and Bear Pits are downright awful and the entire zoo can be seen in only a few hours.
yes it was put in last summer. theres a big sign in front that says taiga forest and across they way theres a exhibit for muntjac deer. but theres even a slide up window where you can watch the keeper feeding the leopard. the exhibit is ten times better than your last visit. and btw snowleopard i recommend you come back to this zoo in a couple of years when ever they open the animal hospital,Reptile house and Top of The World. There's big things happening at my hometown zoo.
