The palm tree is a nice touch. What did you think of the new exhibits? This one, the pig and leopard exhibit all seem on the small side.

I would use the word ... not very herptile behaviorally challenging exhibit. No landscaping, no browse, no boulders and pool and mud wallow to discover.

Any idea about both tortoise personalities (age, species of Galapagos)?

all the exhibits do seem to be on the small side but I enjoyed them a lot.

all I know about these tortoises is that they came last year on loan from Clyde Peelings Reptiland. I thought they were only going to be a part of the zoo for the summer of 2014. I believe that this species wasn't plan to be a part of this exhibit and something happened where the zoo kept them and was a late add to the islands exhibit. therefore explains for the not good exhibit.
