@DavidBrown I actually miss that big central tank in this photo! The North Sea Aquarium, which opened in 1963 and was closed in 2018 when the brand-new, $52 million, Pacific Seas Aquarium opened, has probably been gutted but the zoo has been very quiet on the future of the building. Years have flown by with no news whatsoever, and with world events likely putting a financial dent into plans. Perhaps restoration work has yet to begin...
