It´s just too small for a new seal exhibit. The pool has 370 m2 and is only about 1,5 m deep, with fresh water (there is one point with 2,5 metes deep water, but this area is very restricted). There are 4 small pools with salt water at backstage, that´s all.
It´s only good that all their females are on contraception for a few years so the group will not grow in near future.
