Today I went to see Dalls sheep, and there was a nice male with big horns in the enclosure. So I have realized this could be a female.
Also I have seen two turkeys deep inside the sheep enclosure. Do somebody know If the wild Turkey is kept with the sheep or is it just a domestic Turkey. I think I cant recognize it (but I would say it was wild turkey as the male was not so big as I know from the domestic ones).
I don´t know wheter it´s a domestic or wild form of a turkey in the sheep´s enclosure. So I´ve just uploaded a pic of it, maybe somebody can help us to determine it.
At first, I thought it´s 100% a domestic turkey, because there are bronze (=wild coloured) domestic turkeys in the children zoo. But after you wrote your comment, I´ve checked the animal inventory list and realised, the zoo acquired 15 (3,12) wild turkeys last year. So it could theoretically be any of the 2 forms.
