This area has been gutted, with all of the props removed and the entire wall on the right-hand side also demolished. Now the entrance to the South Pacific Aquarium is much more easily accessible, but without all of the items that made up the "research hut" it is a bland entry into what is still an excellent immersive aquarium experience.
