Very lush cage, isn't it. I wonder what keeps the Prairie Dogs from eating all of the foliage in there. Also is the electric line for the Prairie Dogs or Birds of Prey?

Actually this exhibit has no hotwire. The lines you see above it are simply fishing line and are used to deter local red tailed hawks from attempting to pick off prairie dogs! The pdogs eat foliage but we managed to get a head start on some growth so it's pretty green. We did rip out the low junipers for pest control and quite frankly, it was a bit too lush for a prairie dog exhibit!
