Mixed Aviary

Animal Lifestyles- Mixed Aviary. April 19, 2013. Home to Prevost's Squirrel, Victoria Crowned Pigeon, Australian King Parrot, Crested Wood Partridge, Hwamei, and Oriental Magpie-Robin.

I don't think I've ever heard of Prevost's Squirrels being kept with small birds (such as magpie-robin) before, seems a little risky to me.

At the Bronx Zoo they keep them in with Malayan Tapir, Northern White-Cheeked Gibbons, Yellow-Faced Myna, Green Peafowl, and one or two other small birds. I remember the Smithsonian National Zoo keeps them with small birds though I don't remember the species.
