I could rarely see the animals with it like this! Of course the kangaroo was at the front when I first go to the exhibit but I only glimpsed the wallaby. The amazing thing is after 5 pictures I still didn't capture the whole enclosure!
Yes this exhibit needs a panaroma as it completely surronds you. The last time I went there were not many animals as a keeper told me 2 female kangoroos, and 4 wallabys. They should add a few more to this exhibit.

The zoo sent the roos and wallaby's away in mid 2013. The zoo is keeping the emu and dingo. Now the area is being planned for another species. The person I talked to on my recent visit said he was not sure of the species. The sad part is that the geographic consistency of the australian area will be thrown off. I was told that the amur leopards were unlikely. I think this area if fenced correctly could make a nice cheetah exhibit.

- I asked a staff member and he said the amur leopard exhibit was unlikely to happen. I hope they add another larger animal to replace the void of the the kangaroo. This zoo has so much potential if a few more exhibits are added. The zoo has sort of lost its direction. Central Park has focused on aquatic birds but what has prospect park done. There have been no major exhibits except for the dingo in recent years. There is space along the front of the zoo, a large wasted area in the barnyard and room next to the baboons but nothing is being done. I think the zoo needs one or two more common animals as the sea lions are pretty much the only abc animal in the zoo.

Shame. When I went I was told the Amur Leopard enclosure was to go by where that small building with the vending machines are. I agree, the zoo needs to add some more species and more enclosures. It's a great small zoo IMO and I'd love to visit again soon but seriously!
