Lesser Adjutant Stork /Western Tufted Deer Exhibit - Outstanding!

Aug. 5th, 2014.
I visited this Zoo three times in my life - twice in 2009, and once this year. In 2009, this exhibit was open-topped and called Pelican Cove, a home for rehabilitated pelicans. I believe it was redone into what it is today in 2012.

It is interesting to know that pelicans were once inside this vast aviary. A stork can be seen in the center-right section of the photo and the bird's presence gives a great indication of the enormous size of the structure.

Wow, it is indeed an outstanding exhibit. Thanks for pointing out the stork as I couldn't see how big the exhibit was at first. It's very well planted as well.
