construction progress

May 17, 2011.
Grass in front half of photo is rhino/gazelle/stork exhibit that is temporarily fenced off. The dark green tarp in the far left of the photo about halfway up is the temporary barrier. The animals are behind and to the left of this. Walkway to new elephant expansion will be on the right half of this grass, where the orange flags are. Once this is done, the green tarp-covered fence in the middle will be removed and rhino/gazelle/stork will have full area again. Building in middle background is the new elephant barn under construction.
