flying jaguar

Nikkita, one of our two black jaguar sisters, does this routine fairly often. The spot she is about to land on is one of her favorite resting spots. The fence mesh that covers the exhibit is attached to this cliff. The area she is jumping across has no place to stand because the mesh is too tight to the cliff. So she climbs up to a spot just right of camera, then jumps across while putting her right paws on the side of the rock. Seems quite precarious (it would be a nasty fall), but she has been doing it for years no problem. To get down, she walks off camera left a bit to the glass, then kind of slides down the glass to the ground.
