The first time I've ever seen a zoo with underwater viewing for this species.

I don't think anyone else does. (There may be one somewhere, but I have never seen it in all my zoo travels).

I've not seen or heard of one either. I guess it's like the underwater viewing for elephants - obvious when you think about it, but a mystery why it hasn't been done before.

Temaiken Zoo in Argentina (with turtles and caiman!) does this very well.

Jacksonville Zoo also has capybara underwater viewing.

Cosmocaixa in Barcelona (Spain) has underwater viewing for some of the pools which the capybara swims in (alongside a dwarf caiman and other Amazonian species). It's an impressive sight.
