For the first time in a long while there will not be any polar bears at Reid Park Zoo. In actuality the exhibit will have been empty for almost an entire year (since September 2012) by the time brown bears are added later this summer. The enclosure has been renovated for the new species, and up to 3 bears can be held at once.
