There is already a squeeze shoot on the other side. They could be adding a second one, not sure on this. The big cut with plywood is a new side entrance - it used to be solid wall. The concrete pour in the foreground with the inset area will have a scale built into it. I do not know any details, but I think they are basically adding a second entrance to manage them better instead of having to send them all out through the other shoot. If giraffes need to be separated will make things easier.
