This is now the exhibit for Spotted Hyenas. And if you notice in the background on the right is a seperate enclosure seperated by moat for the monkeys. August 2004

The zoo still has lions in a 1974 grotto, and the big cats are separated from diana monkeys by a moat. The hyenas are now separated from spider monkeys by a similar style dry moat between their enclosures.
